Sandy Bay Gecko - Naultinus stellatus

There is the Maitai Valley, Nelson Lakes and Sandy Bay Gecko in the region where found but are all technically stellatus. Stellatus are active during the day and live in scrub such as manuka and kanuka or open bush. They eat insects a moths. They produce two young, occasionally three, which are born in the autumn or early winter.
